If you have COVID-19 symptoms...

Including fever, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, sore throat, or runny nose, here are the steps you should take:

  1. Find out if you should be tested. Complete the online self-assessment at or call 811 and you will be referred to testing if appropriate.

  2. Phone your family doctor or Health Link at 811 for advice before visiting a hospital, lab, or health care facility.

  3. Call 9-1-1 if you are seriously ill and need immediate medical attention. Tell them you may have COVID-19.

If you do not have a family doctor visit or contact your local Primary Care Network.

Going for blood work? Contact your family doctor first to find out if you need to go now or should wait.

All health clinics and hospitals are taking necessary steps to reduce the risk of patients coming in contact with COVID-19.
