Happiness Basics

Happiness Basics is a SIMPLE, POSITIVE, EMPOWERING workshop. It is a facilitated workshop for people who want to learn to be happier. Happiness Basics moves people to ACTION. The program teaches low tech and low cost skills that should be accessible to everyone. The participant’s manual engages participants to use the skills they learn in class throughout the week and after the program is finished.

Happiness Basics is FREE except for a small cost for a paper version of the participant journal ($20). A free PDF journal is available if you prefer having an electronic copy.

Who is this program for?

Adults (18+) who want to be happier, whether they are depressed, languishing, or flourishing. You do not need a diagnosis to take this program.

Program format:

The course is 4 weeks long consisting of one 2-hour class each week.

  • Skill building – learn a variety of skills to help change your emotions and experiences

Expectations:

To get the most out of this program, we expect you to commit to attending each session and to practicing the skills you learn throughout the week in between classes. This is not therapy or counseling – there is no expectation for you to share and talk about your past.
